Hello Rapids Family!! 

I am so very excited to announce that  Coach Felipe Humana-Paredes will be heading up the Niagara Rapids Beach Twos program!!   I’m sure  you recognize the last name and yes he is Mel’s brother.     He has an impressive resume and will be training Rapids athletes who want to compete on the beach.  Felipe continued to compete on the beach and won multiple medals on the NORCECA beach tour and also competed on the FIVB World Tour. Along with assistant coaching at York University, Felipe has also coached grassroots volleyball from 13u to 17u  with both Phoenix and Leaside. Felipe has recently been hired by Volleyball Canada as an Assistant Coach and Performance Analyst with the National Beach Volleyball Next Gen teams. We look forward to the excellence that Felipe will bring and to the growth and development of our beach program!!  There will be further information on how to apply to be a part of this program.
